In this video I discuss Fidelity’s robo-advisor, Fidelity Go. I discuss why some people have a robo-advisor and compare this to having a financial advisor and the cost of having a financial advisor.
I also compare Fidelity Go vs. Wealthfront and Fidelity GO vs Betterment, and how both Wealthfront and Betterment are very different than Fidelity GO.
I even talk about Fidelity GO vs. Charles Schwab Intelligent Portfolio.
Thanks for watching and I hope this helps!

Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got talking about investment and money. I started investing with $120k and in the first 2 months , my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and gets more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.
How do you feel about it now?
Great video. You explain things very well.
Wish I saw this video before I setup my Fidelity Go account.
Hopefully they added tax lost harvesting by now.
And what about the cash drag that Schwab had a class action suit filed against them and lost because they didn't explain Intelligent Portfolios' high allocation in cash is NOT cost effective and certainly NOT free? Care to take a look at the returns of Schwab's robo-advisor compared to Fidelity or Vanguard?
Fidelity go sucks. I lost money with this shit.
Do you mean $49,999? 3:28
I met with a fidelity guy, he is offering a fully managed portfolio that’s like over 1% fees. Then I see the 0.35% for Go (the robo). I have over 100k. I had a terrible 2022 and 2023 but that’s because I manually picked everything (badly). Do You think I should do “Go” or try the expensive managed plan? I fully absolve you of any responsibility as it would only be your educational advice. Thx….
Oh my god how many times can you repeat yourself ?
Is betterment better then go?? I want star Invest I’m 19 not sure which one is good ..
I just started investing. I have a fidelity Go account myself. I am a little nervous about it though. I plan to review it after a year and see if I like my progress. Any advice for someone just starting out?
Great video. The pricing breakdown was the cherry on top.
Does it have short term capital gains distribution?
Seems like a pretty basic option that may work for some people. Thanks for a great overview of Fidelity Go! Keep up that great content 👍
Finance is so complicated to me, but you make it sound simple. Thanks!
I have a Wealthfront account. They very recently added an option to edit your portfolio, if you so desire, which I find interesting for a Robo Advisor. Wealthfront will also show you 1y, 3y and 5y returns for each of their risk ratings. I remember that the 8.5 risk tolerance had the greatest returns over those timeframes. I plan on opening a Charles Schwab Robo Account, my first Schwab account and also thanks to your video from a few months back. So, I will use your affiliate link when I do open the account. I believe the $5k minimum is a pretty decently sized barrier to entry for that account, much like Vanguards $3k minimums on the Admiral Share Class Index Funds. Interesting decision by Schwab, as you're a lot less likely to be chosen by someone skittish about trying out a Robo Advisor for the first time, but rather one that you can 'graduate' to. I really appreciated the cost by balance graph that you provided as that really shows you where the value is located.
